# The BLOO Token and the Initial Supply

$BLOO is a limited-supply utility token that will serve as the native token of the Blooprint Launchpad. In the future, $BLOO will also be used as a [governance](https://blooprint-labs.gitbook.io/blooprint-launchpad-whitepaper/blooprint-launchpad-overview/governance) token.

The total maximum supply of $BLOO is 1,000,000,000 tokens. The initial supply of $BLOO tokens will be privately funded by early investors, and the initial circulating supply going *TBA*, which corresponds to *TBA* of the total maximum supply.

The initial supply of $BLOO tokens will be matched with a $50,000 seed investment, and the raised liquidity will be used to create a liquidity pool on Uniswap.
